Day 2: Drive in the heart of Chianti classico

A day spent on winding roads among Chianti Classico vineyards, visiting Castellina and Greve in Chianti, you may choose to have lunch at the famous Cecchini butcher shop and then learn the secrets of Italian cuisine with Marisa, the cook of the villa where you are staying. Spend the night in Panzano in Chianti at relais Fattoria Valle. However, if you do not want a cooking class you may push your tour a bit further on to Radda and Gaiole, including a wine tasting (be moderate) at Volpaia Castle.

Day 3: San Gimignano and Volterra

Leave Chianti Classico for the San Gimignano Vineyards. A longer tour may include visiting Volterra, the town of alabaster art crafts to come back to San Gimignano. Your Villa isn’t far from the town and is a nice spot to relax with her lovely swimming pool.
