Day 1: Arrival in Perugia and ride to Cortona
Transfer to your vespas rental place to pick them up and, if you are not an expert, to receive a brief riding lesson. Try to arrive in the morning so you can have plenty of time for your first ride. To Cortona the town where the book “Under the Tuscan sun” was written.

Day 2: Cortona - Montepulciano
A very easy day crossing the Valdichiana a flat area on the south of Tuscany and visiting small villages like Farneta and Valiano. An early ending in your Villa in Montepulciano, is a good chance to relax and visit the town, which is very interesting. Don’t forget to taste a good glass of wine!

Day 3: Montepulciano - Bagno Vignoni
Along cypress lined winding roads reach Bagno Vignoni one of the oldest thermal resorts of Tuscany that goes back to Roman times. Stay in a lovely hotel with a steaming hot swimming pool, sauna, and massage (massages have to be pre-booked and are not included). You can make a detour to visit Pienza.

Day 4: Bagno Vignoni - San Casciano Bagni
Start along the beautiful downhill road that leads to the heart of the Val d’Orcia and then take the superb ridge road that leads to Abbadia San Salvatore; visit the crypt, which is superb, then descend a scenic route, cross the Cassia road only to climb again to Radicofani and its imposing tower. The last descent in a rugged landscape takes you to Celle sul Rigo where you spend the night in a lovely historical house 3 km from the thermal SPA. Relax in one of the loveliest thermal baths of the area (Terme di Fonteverde). Entrance fee included.

Day 5: Return trip from San Casciano to the Trasimeno Lake area (Perugia)
Città della Pieve – Paciano – Panicale is medieval villages on the southern side of Trasimeno Lake among olive trees covered hills.
Overnight Borgo Mandoleto or transfer to the nearest train station for the departure.
